9th Annual Sugar Run

The 9th annual Sugar Run was held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at WC Johnson Park in Collierville. Dr. Julie Kate Webster of MSFAS is the co-chair of the Sugar Run along with Dr. Kashif Latif of AM Diabetes and Endocrinology Center. The race benefits JDRF whose goal is to cure Type 1 diabetes. The date of the race coincided with World Diabetes Day. Over 190 runners participated in the Sugar Run, and after this year’s donation, the Sugar Run will have raised over $100,000 for diabetes research.
