Tailor’s bunion, also known as a bunionette, is a bony prominence that develops on the outside of the foot at the base of the little toe. It can cause pain, swelling, redness, and irritation, especially when wearing tight or narrow footwear.
This condition often results from foot structure, repetitive pressure, or improper shoe fit. Treatment may include wearing wider shoes, using padding or orthotics, anti-inflammatory measures, or, in more severe cases, surgical correction to relieve discomfort and restore proper foot alignment.
